DEATH TOLL CONTINUES TO RISE
"11 unsolved murders, killer still roaming the streets"
Story by Edna Bovia

Six new murders over the last four and a half weeks and police are currently no closer to finding the perpetrator. Officer Daniel Upton who was at the scene of the first slaying was still confident of the imminent capture of the killer. However, he could not provide us with any specifics at this time.

The most recent slayings occurred in Boom Town's lower east side on Tuesday the 39 of September, 536 in a twenty-four hour liquor store. At 2:38 am police received a report of automatic gunfire coming from the liquor store and sent patrol gliders to the scene where the bodies of JJ Giddings, Pete Carlson, and storeowner Cho Kim were found. "Store patrons Giddings and Carlson had been shot with a high powered rail gun, but what brought this crime to our attention was that Mrs. Kim had been strangled” said Upton. Police found a well-defined tentacle abrasion on Mrs. Kim that matched the other two crimes. Police are still searching for suspect, Santa Muerte, for questioning about those murders.
