Joshua is a 1996 graduate of The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Arts, located in Dover, New Jersey. Josh was trained in advanced commercial illustration and design techniques, by professional artist working in the field today. Joshua has over 12 years as a proffessional digital illustrator using Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark and many other programs.

Over the past ten years as a professional illustrator, Josh has worked with many well known companies on high profile projects. Including: Looney Tunes, Winnie the Pooh, Star Trek, Batman, the Wild Thornsberrys, Everything for Early Learnig and the Complete Book of series.

Joshua Janes' Sci-fi cartoon Zeak Yolkum™ has returned and is better than ever. The Yolkum Universe has been completely redesigned and has a fresh new stylized look. Check out the new website, www.yolkum.com that continues and builds on the stories in the book. The story spins off in various new directions and chronicles just how much damage humans can do to a new civalization.

Josh has completed the final touches on his next children's book, "This Little Train", written by Pam Schiller and produced in collaboration with School Specialty Publishing and Noodle Bug.

Santa and Me

In 2004 Joshua illustrated and co-wrote the children's book "Santa & Me" with Erik Jon Slangerup for Gingham Dog Press an imprint of School Specialty Publishing. A fun filled children's book about Santa's life scrap booked by Mrs. Claus.

The book sold over 72,000 copies and could be purchased at most major retailers, including, Walden's, Barnes & Nobles, Amazon.com, , Borders, Sam's Club and Walmart.

Santa & Me is still available at Amazon.com and many of the other pre-mentioned stores.
